A little about me, my illustrators and my publishers

If you love dragons, sword and sorcery, romance and high adventure, with  a little magic in the mix, well, you have come to the right place!

A little about me:

My name is Carolyn Wolfe,  (former last names are Edmonds and Overington.) I am a freelance writer and poet and author of nine books that range in readership from  bedtime stories for very young children, to adult fantasy. I live and write in Winchester, VA, and share my home with my wonderful artist/ photographer husband and our houseful of animal companions.

A little about my personal philosophy:

I consider myself to be a spiritual person, who believes that all things are Sacred, including the earth herself and all the beings upon it. I am an animal advocate/activist and a Vegetarian. My work tends to reflect these deep seated beliefs.

Although American, I was born in England, and my Grandfather was a British citizen. I love everything about England and am happy to have dual citizenship.

I grew up on British classics, and I have been told  there is some British influence to my writing style. I would like to think so.

Oh and I love Dragons!

I hope you will enjoy reading my books and I want to thank you for visiting here today!

A little about my Illustrators:

Leslie Mathis is a wonderful artist, graphic artist, and illustrator. She illustrated my first three children's books, The Unhappy Dragon, Lessons Begin, The Unhappy Dragon, Lessons Learned, and The Bedtime Of The Sky and Other Sleepy Bye Stories. She created this gem of a video in order to introduce The Bedtime Of The Sky..... and I would love for you to take a peek!

Rosemarie Gillen is a talented and accomplished children's book illustrator. She has illustrated my latest book,The Drowsy House, with charming and often comical characters, that make my story come alive!  I especially love the cover she has created, of the house itself, with a hauntingly beautiful full Moon shining down on it. The Drowsy House just released March 2014!

Amruta Patil is an amazing artist who has illustrated my newest project, a children's book titled "Am I Your Pet?" which will be published in the Winter /Spring of 2017. Her colorful and charming images perfectly capture the fun that kids have with their pets!

 A little about my Publishers:

Avid Readers Publishing Group, Publisher, Eric Patterson- California based

http://www.avidreaderspg.com/ This is the publisher of all of my children's books and collections.

I would like to tell you a bit about my children's and poetry book publisher, ARPG! I cannot say enough great things about them. They are a wonderful company that gives so very much to their authors- in time, patience, advice and wonderful services! It is so helpful to have someone who cares as much as you do about your work and puts a great deal of time and effort into making your dreams become reality.  I recommend them highly! Eric Patterson is the owner and Publisher and he makes all this publishing biz look easy!

Moon Rose Publishing,  Publisher,  Miranda Stork- England based
http://www.moonrosepublishing.com/

This is an exciting new publisher for me that specializes in fantasy, sword and sorcery and very hot romance! No kid stuff here! I am so happy to be among her authors, and have recently been published in an Anthology, "A Celtic Tapestry, that has eight stories related to the Celtic Seasonal Holiday Wheel of the Year. Each story revolves around one of the major holidays. My story, "Blade's Magic" celebrates the holiday of Midsummer.

Just wanted to add that Miranda Stork, is an amazingly talented author and artist as well as the publisher of Moon Rose Publishing. She is creative, supportive, and very helpful  to all her authors, and I am very lucky to be one of them!

Side Street Cookie Publishing,  is a wonderful publisher who specializes in Indie Authors and I was  honored to be among the authors who were included in the  anthology "Write To Rescue" which was a charitable project that donated the proceeding of the book to two  amazing Animal rescue organizations.
